Historic League Tables

We've added the results from the 2002 to 2005 PR Leagues to the website.

We're in the process of collating the years before 2002 as well, but these were not in a digital format, so it may take a little while longer to put these up.

The 2008 PR League Results

The end of the 2008 season has come and the results are out.
Congratulations to Neil Beeby for winning, Nigel Greenaway for second place and Fred Cook in third. The trophies will be organised in the usual way.

PR League Results Updated

The 2008 PR League table has been updated and Neil Beeby's absence from the Blue Team match means that he's dropped from 1st to 4th as Nigel Greenaway regains the lead with only 2 competitions to go!

The North Western PR Competition

To be held at the Altcar Rifle Ranges near Liverpool on Saturday the 1st of November.

The Civilian Methuen 2009

The 2009 Civilian Methuen will take place on Saturday the 25th July.

Those of you who would like to shoot for the PR League Team and who are fairly confident of being available on the above date please let me know by email prnl@practicalrifle.co.uk by 1st June 2009.

Your position in the League will still be used to decide their place but with a positive list it will save a lot of searching by the organizer in emails and snail mail not being responded to or ignored.

The only criteria is that you are on the previous or current years PR League table

Blue Team Match

The Blue Team PR Match will be held on the 27th of September this year at Bisley.

Message from the NRA: Olympic Shooting

In case you haven't been told via other sources, this message was sent out by th NRA:

Please try and visit the shooting pages of the BBC Olympic website and support GB shooters. We have been told that the BBC will be monitoring the number of hits each site gets so this could be your opportunity to show the BBC just how popular shooting is.

The League results have been updated with the Imperial PR comp and the Beckingham Charity Shoot results.

We've had confirmation that the Beckingham Charity PR Competition will be taking place this year on the 26th of July. Also The Kemble will be taking place at the end of this year on the 9th of November. Other dates to be confirmed.
